We raise turkeys on pasture and supplement their natural grazing and insect nibbling with non-GMO corn, soy, oat and wheat feed from a local, family-owned grower. Our customers rave about the flavor of our turkeys and, best of all, we'll be your personal "butterball hotline" to advise you on safely thawing your turkey and executing a cooking method that will result in perfectly cooked meat, crispy skin, and no dry or tough meat!

Step 1: Reserve your turkey

Purchase this pastured turkey deposit product on TRF’s online store. Pay $25 with a credit/debit card or click COD in checkout and send a $25 check to 23719 Hazel Rd. Elkport, IA 52044. Reservations are pending until deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable. 

Step 2: Processing preferences - note in "special instructions" box

We will process turkeys in early November at Kruse Hatchery, with pickup soon after at the farm. Please note if you would be interested in delivery. 

Our turkeys will finish between 14 and 20 pounds, please let us know if you'd prefer a LARGER or SMALLER bird and we will do our best to accommodate your preference.

Step 3: Pay producer fee and processing fee to Turkey River Farm on pickup 

Pastured turkeys are $5/per pound dressed weight (14-20 lbs). Plus, we charge $8/turkey for processing fees. You can pay with cash, check or credit card when you pickup your turkey from the farm.
